Renew Migraine and Wellness Center is currently in-network with Aetna PPO, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Cigna PPO.
We are working on joining UnitedHealthcare PPO, and Medicare— and we will update you as soon as we are officially in-network with those plans!
At this time, we are not accepting new patients with HMO plans, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss our current payment options or any questions you may have regarding your insurance coverage.
We truly appreciate your understanding and patience during this transition. Our team is committed to providing you with the highest quality care every step of the way.

Yes, we do see pediatric patients. We’re happy to provide care for children and teens as part of our commitment to supporting the whole family’s wellness.

At this time, Renew Migraine and Wellness Center can only provide care to patients who are physically located in Illinois.
We offer both in-person appointments at our Glenview office and telehealth visits, but state licensing laws require that all patients must be present in Illinois during their appointment, even if seen virtually.
If you’re unsure whether you’re eligible, feel free to reach out, as we are happy to help clarify.

Yes! Even if your last visit with Brooke was within the past 12 months, you’ll need to re-establish care at Renew Migraine and Wellness Center. Because this is a new and independent practice, we’ll need updated paperwork, but you can book a Follow-Up Appointment.
-
If you’ve received Botox for Chronic Migraines in the past year with Brooke and would like to continue treatment at Renew Migraine and Wellness Center, you’ll need to schedule a Follow-Up Appointment with Brooke first. This visit is required to re-establish care and complete any necessary prior-authorization paperwork.
Please make sure to schedule this appointment at least 4 weeks before your next Botox treatment is due to avoid delays in approval and scheduling.

Yes. While Renew Migraine and Wellness Center bills your visits through our clinic, most prescriptions, laboratory testing, and diagnostic imaging are ordered to outside facilities that bill your insurance directly.
Coverage will depend on your individual insurance plan and the specific pharmacy, lab, or imaging center used. We recommend confirming coverage and network status directly with those providers.
If you need help finding an in-network option, we’re happy to assist!
-
Yes, we do! If your insurance requires prior authorization for a medication, we’ll take care of submitting the necessary paperwork for you.
Please keep in mind that it can take 2 to 14 business days for insurance companies to process these requests. If your medication is denied, we may submit an appeal when appropriate—just note that appeals can take up to 30 business days and approval isn’t guaranteed.
To help things go smoothly, be sure your insurance and pharmacy details are up to date, and let us know right away if anything changes.

At this time, Renew Migraine and Wellness Center is open during regular weekday business hours, and we do not offer after-hours or weekend appointments.
While I’m not officially on call 24/7, I do periodically check messages after hours. However, responses are not guaranteed outside of business hours, so please allow up to 24 hours for a reply.
If you have a non-urgent question, feel free to message us through the client portal, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. For urgent concerns or emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Your safety and well-being are always our top priority.

Care at Renew Migraine and Wellness Center is provided by Brooke Phenicie, a board-certified nurse practitioner with full practice authority in Illinois. This means you can receive expert care directly—no referral or supervision by a medical doctor is needed.
That said, Brooke is always happy to collaborate with your primary care doctor or any specialists to ensure your care is well-coordinated and personalized to your individual needs.
